Mrs. Keishea Michelle Lewis

Sadly, Keishea Michelle Allen Lewis, 52, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 9. Keishea was born on May 4, 1973, in Houston, Texas, to Jacquelyn V. (Neal) Allen and Heman Lee Allen Jr., both of whom preceded her in death. From an early age, she was known for her caring spirit, deep love of animals, and unwavering loyalty to her family and friends—qualities that remained at the heart of who she was throughout her life. She is survived by her devoted husband, Johnny Lee Lewis III; her loving daughter, Kenndi Michelle Lewis; her brothers, Dominque Jenkins of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Cedrick Allen of Houston, Texas; as well as a host of cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, and her beloved dog, Kash. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Calvin Williams of Bastrop, Louisiana. Keishea was a deeply devoted mother, a loving wife, a caring sister, and a loyal friend whose presence left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She later followed her passion for helping others by working in education as a Special Education paraprofessional at Garrett Elementary in Sheldon Independent School District. In this role, she poured her heart into supporting and uplifting her students, offering steady encouragement and care to them and their families. Her work was more than a profession—it was a calling, and her impact will be felt for years to come. Beyond the classroom, Keishea was a vibrant and beloved member of her community. She generously gave her time and energy as a devoted team mom, uplifting and supporting young athletes through organizations such as YFF Cheerleading and Football, Aces Volleyball, and AVA Volleyball Academy. Her enthusiasm, kindness, and unwavering support made her a constant source of encouragement and joy to many. Keishea’s impact on the Sheldon community and the greater Houston area was profound. Her laughter, generosity, warmth, and vibrant spirit brought light and comfort to every space she entered. She had an extraordinary ability to connect with others, and her unwavering optimism and zest for life allowed her to cultivate and sustain meaningful friendships that spanned decades. Her legacy is one of love, compassion, and service. She leaves behind treasured memories and an enduring imprint on the hearts of her family, friends, students, and all who were blessed to know her. Services will be held at Bethany Baptist Church, 7304 Homestead Road, Houston, Texas 77028. She will be laid to rest at Houston Memorial Gardens, 2426 Cullen Parkway, Pearland, Texas 77548.
